I had such a great time with Heidi! She is so full of life and so excited about becoming a mommy! She is one of those people who you are just drawn to. I immediately fell in love with her. I really can’t believe it has been 10 years since I had my first child. The anticipation is almost too much. I remember sitting up at night just talking to him. Asking him questions. What type of mom do you want? What type of child will you be? What will drive you to do great things? I still ask myself and my son these questions. But as most mom’s go, life gets crazy, children get in trouble, and unfortunately you sometimes forget to appreciate that wondrous thing that is your child. Don’t get me wrong, my children are not hooligans! They are really great kids! When I say trouble, I’m talking about detention for not completing an assignment, getting into an argument with a classmate. I should really just count my blessings that they don’t get into “Trouble” with a capital T. Anyway, I digress….
I am glad that I do what I do. Someone like Heidi can walk through my door and help me remember. I have two beautiful glorious children. My wonder, my life, and a part of me. Thank you for reminding me Heidi.
